About National Loans USA
Last updated: November 6, 2026 ยท National Loans USA is not a lender. How we make money.
NationalLoans.com is a consumer information site for people in the United States who are thinking about borrowing money. National Loans USA runs it. We explain how different loans work, what they cost, what lenders are allowed to do, and how to spot a bad deal before you sign. We are not a lender.
What we focus on
A lot of loan websites only want you to apply. We think you should also know your rights and the warning signs, so our guides look at borrowing from the borrower’s side:
- Your rights, such as what a lender has to tell you before you sign, and what you can do if you’re turned down. Read what to do if you’re denied a loan.
- The rules lenders and debt collectors must follow. Read your rights when a debt collector contacts you.
- Scams and red flags, like a “lender” who wants a fee before you get the money. Read how advance-fee loan scams work and how to check if a lender is licensed.
We also explain each loan type in plain terms: how it works, who it suits, who should skip it, and what safer options exist. This site has published borrower guides since 2016.
What you can do here
Learn how loans work
Start with our guides to personal loans, bad credit loans and debt consolidation, or see every option on our loan types page. Short answers to common questions are on our FAQ page.
Browse the lender directory
Our directory lists banks, lenders and finance companies, such as the US banks directory. Businesses submit their own listings, and some pay for a Silver or Gold package that gives them more visibility. A listing is not an endorsement. We don’t check every listing’s license, so check any lender yourself before you share personal details. You can look up a lender on NMLS Consumer Access and with your state’s financial regulator.
Ask for loan offers
Our loan request form is provided by ZeroParallel, an outside lead network. When you send the form, your information goes to that network and to lenders and other partners in it. They may contact you by phone, email or text, and lenders may check your credit. Lenders set the rates and terms, not us. Sending a request doesn’t guarantee an offer. The privacy policy explains what is shared and how to opt out.
How we make money
We earn money in two ways. Some businesses pay for directory listings, and the lead network may pay us when someone sends or is matched through the loan request form. Payment can affect where a listing appears or how prominent it is. It doesn’t change what our guides say. The advertiser disclosure has the details, and our editorial policy explains how we research and update our guides.
What we don’t do
- We don’t lend money, make credit decisions or broker loans ourselves.
- We don’t give personal financial, legal or tax advice. Our guides are general information.
- We can’t see or check the status of a loan application. If you have a question about an offer or a loan, contact the lender directly.
